Down the Rabbit Hole

In 2021, with no real experience in music production, I sat down one afternoon, opened GarageBand on my phone, and created Down the Rabbit Hole. It began as a playful experiment — a track meant to open my ecstatic dance events (called Red Pill Rituals).
The inspiration came from a classic scene in The Matrix, when Morpheus offers Neo a defining choice:
Blue pill — go back to sleep.
Red pill — dive deeper down the rabbit hole.
In a moment of audacious naivety, I uploaded the track to Spotify — no big plan, zero promo strategy. Then something unexpected happened. The plays started rolling in: 1k, then 10k, then 100k. Before long, the track had reached listeners in 122 countries, from Peru to Lithuania.
For a while, I thought maybe I’d just gotten lucky — that I didn’t “deserve” it yet. But the truth is, that single spark lit a fire in me. It became the start of my journey as a producer. Down the Rabbit Hole reminds me every day that creativity doesn’t wait for permission — it flows through us when we let go and dive in.
This song continues to pull me deeper into what I love most: creating music that opens minds, moves bodies, and weaves moments of real connection.
As a DJ, producer, and sonic storyteller, Chakaruna creates journeys that weave tribal bass, organic house, and world-inspired rhythms. Drawing from nature and indigenous sounds, each set is designed as a bridge — connecting body, mind, and spirit through music.

This journey was woven to carry dancers from grounding stillness into soaring peaks of ecstatic, cathartic release — before gently bringing everyone back down into deep rest and integration.
The set is guided by the spirit of the Elephant and stands as an offering to the jungles of our world — a reminder of their power, wisdom, and presence in every beat.
